E-mail Mailing List Service

ORSB provides individual sport teams with an automated email mailing list maintenance system. Teams can use one or several mailing lists to facilitate communication with ORHS coaches, athletes, families, community and/or even with other school coaches, etc.

All mailing lists under this service are closed restricted mailing lists. That means that the list of subscribers is not visible to anyone not on the list, and optionally may require an administrator approval to join. All email sent to the list is archived and is retrievable by logging into the mailing list website. Subscribers log in with their email address and password which was created when they subscribed to the list.

Requesting New Mailing Lists

• Team this list is for
  (specify Boys/Girls and Varsity/JV/Frosh if teams are separated for this sport)
• Who will make up the members of this list (ie, coaches, players, parents, community)
• Requested name for the mailing list (ie, SoccerBoysFamilies)
• Name, phone, and email address of the person who will manage this list
• Time frame when you plan to announce this mailing list to your audiance
• Do you already have a list of email addresses which could be bulk loaded into this automated system?
• Any special request for setup (there are numerous options for how the lists function)
