Thank you all for your time and efforts over the past several months. As you have noticed, I have been switching up meeting nights to best accommodate some specific discussion topics that were time sensitive to the planning schedule and I know have been inconvenient and/or in conflict with schedules of others.

I am anticipating that in April we will need to break down into even smaller groups to meet and discuss specific topics/details.

We met yesterday evening to discuss timing and layout and have a rough outline established for which other planning can now move forward.

Beth Goodwin has chosen to withdraw from planning activities, I respect Beth's decision and have no contention with her reasons. I am appreciative of Beth and the time energy and achivements she invested into the Oak Ridge Sports Programs through Boosters and as an individual team parent.

Here is the tentative Agenda for our next meeting:

1) There are a number of key leadership responsibilities that now need to be handed forward; facilities logistics, tables & chairs, setup/cleanup, decorations.

2) Donations Update (Karen Slagle)

3) Cashiering - needs/process for various event activities (Susan Spink)

The Sports Boosters annual Blue & Gold Auction is April 19. This is the major fundraiser to celebrate our student athletes. Promising to be a very fun evening, with food, music, silent and live auction, wine tasting, casino games, and just plan fun. Discount tickets are now available for convenient purchase on the web at www.orsb.org ($45 each). Ticket price goes up to $50 ea after March 31st. Team group ticket purchase incentives are available through Ralph Clark (rclark26@aol.com), e.g., comp coach and guest ticket for group of 8 purchase, reserved team table with $150 going toward team.

Profits from this event are shared between teams working to put on the event.
